The Invitation

Cross into 2027 as your most aligned Self.

Imagine 8 days to pour completely into yourSELF as a guest of your own life, just before the holiday hustle. The Closing Ceremony is a self-guided sabbatical, a true Yoga Retreat for you to fill up your cup with whatever your Soul desires.

You'll rest in a private, jungle sanctuary in Tulum, completely wrapped in its magic. The shape of your days belongs entirely to you — enjoy a limited schedule to keep so that you can quiet your mind and strengthen your internal signal.

Think of it as The Closing Ceremony you write for yourself: a week to set 2026 down, gently, in your own way, so that you can cross into the new year already softened and replenished with exactly what your Soul needs.

Your Private Oasis

A jungle sanctuary, long known for its healing.

Tucked into the Tulum jungle — palapa lounges, a pool in the trees, quiet corners to disappear into. This is the land that will hold you.

Your Week, Your Way

Structure when you want it. Freedom the rest of the time.

Rise with the sun for morning yoga, or rest until your body wakes you. Float in the nearby cenotes, book an excursion of your choice — or stay exactly where you are and do beautifully nothing. While the communal moments will be there for you if you'd like to join, nothing is required of you. This is your week to spend however your Spirit asks.

Rest

Leisurely mornings, hammock or poolside afternoons, deep sleep in the jungle. Reflect on 2026 & envision 2027. And of course… permission to do nothing at all.

Wander

Cenotes, excursions, beach days, and Tulum's magic — explore on your own time, at your own pace.

Return

Optional morning practice and two ceremonies to bookend the week, so you leave more yourself than you came.

The Gentle Rhythm

A week of total freedom — gently held at both ends.

You're here to pour into yourSELF, first and always. The week is quietly held: it opens with a ceremony, closes with another, and each morning offers yoga if you want it. Come to what calls you, and let the rest go.

  • An opening Temazcal ceremony to arrive, land, and set your intention for the week.
  • Optional morning yoga, led by Simone — a daily invitation to move and breathe before the day is yours.
  • A closing Cacao ceremony to gather what the week gave you and carry it home.
  • Yoga Asana Immersion — on December 13 & 14 the YOGkiSOMA teacher trainees will deliver their Practicums for their Training, and you are welcome to join in on their classes if you feel called.

Everything here is an open door. Walk through the ones that call to you.

The Shape of the Week

A gentle scaffold — the rest is yours to build.

A few anchors hold the week: an arrival ceremony, daily meals, and optional morning practice. Everything in between is entirely your own.

A Word From Your Host

You won't be held by me. You'll be held by the land.

I'm Simone Marie-Elise, founder of YOGkiSOMA — and I want to be honest about what this week is. This is not a retreat where I guide your every hour. Your days here are completely your own, to spend however you wish.

You'll be held instead by the jungle of Tulum — our private oasis, long known for its healing. I'll open and close our time together with ceremony, and offer morning yoga for those who feel called. Everything in between is yours.

This is your permission to just let go. To get quiet enough to let your Spirit speak and guide you. To reconnect to Mother Earth's natural rhythms and recalibrate your nervous system — so you step out of 2026 and into 2027 renewed and realigned.

What's Held For You

  • Round-trip airport transfer (one scheduled pickup & drop-off)
  • Opening Temazcal ceremony
  • Closing Cacao ceremony
  • Two nourishing meals every day
  • Daily morning yoga, led by Simone
  • Optional Yoga Asana Immersion — the Dec 13 & 14 classes

On the Mat, If You Choose

What people feel when they practice with Simone

For the mornings you feel called to roll out your mat — a glimpse of Simone's teaching.

"You're so connected to the truth of the practice that it spreads through everyone in the room. I felt free, strong, and at peace — which all equals safety."

— Student of Simone's

"It's emotional, physical, and spiritual therapy. You leave a better version of yourself. Everyone should experience it — it's a true privilege."

— Student of Simone's

"I released so much I'd been holding onto for a long time. Her space brought so much good energy into my Soul."

Questions & Answers

Is this part of the Yoga Teacher Training?
No — this is a standalone rest sabbatical. A YOGkiSOMA teacher training happens to be on the same property that week, which is simply why you can join the optional morning yoga. On December 13th and 14th, the teacher trainees will deliver their Practicums for their Training, and you're welcome to join in on their classes if you feel called. But there's no coursework, no requirements, and nothing you have to attend — the week is entirely yours.
Where and when is it?
A private jungle sanctuary in Tulum, Mexico, December 8–15, 2026 (seven nights).
Do I have to do the yoga or ceremonies?
Not at all. Everything is optional. The morning practices, the opening Temazcal ceremony, and the closing Cacao ceremony are all open invitations — join what calls to you and skip the rest.
Can I come alone?
Absolutely. Take a king suite to yourself for total privacy, or choose a shared rate if you're traveling with a partner or friend.
Can I share a room with a friend?
Yes. You can share a king suite (one king bed) or a two-bed room (two double beds). Shared rooms are priced as one total for the two of you.
What's included in meals and transport?
Two meals a day and a round-trip airport transfer are included. Additional meals, excursions, and transport during your free time are on your own.
How do the airport transfers work?
One scheduled pickup and drop-off is included — to and from both the Cancún and Tulum airports — departing at 2:00 PM on arrival and departure days. Please book your return flight for 4:00 PM or later so you don't miss the transfer. Off-schedule or private transfers can be arranged on your own.
Are flights included?
